Core Connection Series

The APPLES Service-Learning program is hosting a series of brown-bag lunches during the 2012-13 academic year to discuss successful models and practices of service-learning courses. Faculty, course instructors and community partners are invited to hear perspectives from within the field and network with service-learning colleagues.

Course Development Institute on Service-Learning

This annual event is held every May (2013 dates are TBD). Topics include service-learning pedagogy, faculty course models, partnership development and course design. Faculty and instructors new to service-learning as well as those with experience are encouraged to attend. There is no cost for UNC participants, however, space is limited.
