The Carolina Center for Public Service Database
The Carolina Center for Public Service Database is the first centralized
way for community members, students, faculty, staff, and alumni to access
information about the many ways the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill serves the state of North Carolina and beyond through our three-part
mission of teaching, research, and service.
The Carolina Center for Public Service Database is designed to:
Although we are working to document as many of
the University’s
service endeavors as possible, the Public Service Database is not an
exhaustive accounting of past or present efforts. Given the breadth
and depth of
service and engagement across the campus and throughout the state, it
is a dynamic resource, with information collected and added on an on-going
basis. Please continue to explore this resource as it develops, and
let
us know of additions or enhancements that will add to its value.
This database is not intended to be used as a means of finding volunteer opportunities.
If you are interested in getting involved in the community, please visit
the list of Service Organizations provided by the Carolina Center for
Public Service and sign up for our weekly public service listserv.
