Support the Carolina Center for Public Service
The Carolina Center for Public Service has enriched the student experience, bolstered faculty resources for engaged scholarship, and supported partnerships that connect Carolina and communities throughout the state and far beyond.
Private giving is essential and enables the Center to develop innovative ways for students and faculty to engage, including the Buckley Public Service Scholars program, Thorp Faculty Engaged Scholars program, and a host of programs with APPLES Service-Learning. In May 2014, the Buckley Public Service Scholars program graduated its 10th class of scholars; the sixth class of Thorp Faculty Engaged Scholars is being recruited; and APPLES, celebrating more than 25 years of service-learning, champions more than 2,400 participants in internships, fellowships, alternative breaks and more than 100 service-learning courses.
