Content and Communication Specialist

Uniting her professional enthusiasm for strategic communications with her personal passion for social justice, Caroline works as the content and communication specialist for the Carolina Center for Public Service. She previously worked as the content specialist at the Morehead-Cain Foundation. She has also worked as a full-time freelance reporter, copywriter, essayist and audio producer for media platforms including NPR, LinkedIn, Southern Foodways Alliance, Our State magazine and Belmont University.

A proud graduate of UNC-CH and the Buckley Public Service Scholars program, Caroline volunteered with APPLES Service-Learning for three of her four years at Carolina—in addition to working at The Daily Tar Heel as a reporter and editor. Caroline also balances an allegiance to Duke University through her cross-campus undergraduate scholarship, the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program.
