The Carolina Center for Public Service is pleased to announce UNC-Chapel Hill’s third cohort of SECU Public Fellows Interns. Through this program, 19 undergraduate students from Carolina are working throughout the summer in partnership with organizations serving rural communities in North Carolina.
SECU Public Fellows Interns are paid as employees during the summer. They also are enrolled in a summer course through the Gillings School of Global Public Health focused on effective community engagement.
CCPS is grateful to the SECU Foundation for providing grant funding of up to $110,000 for this program. CCPS also thanks MDC Rural Forward for facilitating the partnerships with many of the host organizations.
