2021 University Public Service Awards Ceremony
Each year, the Carolina Center for Public Service administers three campus-wide awards honoring individual undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff and University units for exemplary work in public service and engaged scholarship. These University Public Service Awards are presented in a celebration ceremony in the spring. As in spring 2020, the 2021 awards ceremony will take place via Zoom. Carolina Engagement Council
The Carolina Engagement Council will meet via Zoom at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23. This is an open meeting; if you would like to watch and listen in, please email ccps@unc.edu for the link. The Carolina Engagement Council is a campus-wide entity that offers guidance and direction to support successful engagement with the state in a variety of ways.

Applications accepted for the Community Engagement Fellowship
The Community Engagement Fellowship at the Carolina Center for Public Service awards fellowships of $2,500 each year for engagement or engaged scholarship projects that are responsive to community priorities and have an academic connection. Returning, full-time graduate and professional students at Carolina are eligible to apply. Public Service Awards nominations accepted
Submit your nominations for the University’s Robert E. Bryan Public Service Awards, the Office of the Provost Engaged Scholarship Awards and the Ned Brooks Award for Public Service. Up to five Bryan awards will be given to recognize an outstanding undergraduate student, graduate student, faculty member, staff member and officially recognized student organization.
