Hurricane Florence

Support for students affected by Hurricane Florence
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has launched the Florence Student Emergency Fund and the Student Success Hub for Florence Recovery, providing support to students affected by Hurricane Florence.

The fund helps those who face financial hardships as a result of Hurricane Florence. The hub has specially trained teams that will work with students to develop plans to meet their needs. Interested UNC-Chapel Hill students should visit the Student Success Hub in the Carolina Union room 2416, call 919-843-0145, or send an email to florence@unc.edu. The fund and the hub are open to all enrolled students, including undergraduate, graduate and professional students.

The initiative is a $2 million fund, where $1 million is being raised through a philanthropic match. Donate to the Florence Student Emergency Fund here.
