Carolina Women’s Center

The Carolina Women’s Center offers both fall and spring alternative break programs. Participants serve with rape crisis centers and explore focuses relating to the center’s mission.

Global Brigades

The UNC Chapter of Global Brigades offers international service trips during spring break. For more information about the medically focused service trips, visit Global Brigades.

Hillel

The NC Hillel Foundation offers alternative breaks during the spring some years. The breaks have a significant Jewish education component. Visit their NC Hillel for more information.

GLBL 382: APPLES Global Course Guanajuato

Explore the global and local aspect of migration as you research and work with immigrants in receiving communities in North Carolina through GLBL 382 and spend spring break in immigrants’ home communities in Guanajuato, Mexico.
